5 devices are considered the maximum number you should connect at any one time.

Normally 1-2 minutes. It may take up to 10 minutes to start up for the first time in a country.

If you have an android phone, you first have to connect to the device network through the wi-fi capabilities on your phone. Your device name and password are found on the back of the device. Once you connect to the device network, it will appear like Wi-Fi on your phone. You will then be able to scan it into your App.


Coverage

The Uni-Fi service depends on the local operators’ network, the 4G network is prioritized. When the 4G signal is weak, the signal will be transferred to 3G.

The mobile service in your area could be weak and your device may be trying to connect to a network. If this persists please reset your device. If resetting does not work – please email customer.support@unifiglobal.com with your device IMEI number and app account details.

Uni-Fi Global may not have any network partners in that country. Check our coverage map for further details.


Data packages & Uni-Fi App

Download the Uni-Fi App onto your mobile device through Google Play or Apple stores and set up an account. Once you set up your account, activate your device by scanning the QR code on the back of your device. Full instructions on how to set up an account are available here (unifi app page).

You can purchase 300mb, 1GB or 3GB for your chosen destination country.

Prices start at €3 for 300mb, €5 for 1GB and €12 for 3GB. Prices will vary according to your destination country.

You can purchase additional data packages or top up using your Uni-Fi App.
